Clean Power Research

GroundWork offers integrated resource assessment services through our partnership with Clean Power Research®. Clean Power Research provides SolarAnywhere® Data, a web-based satellite data service that provides satellite estimates of solar irradiance for locations within the continental U.S., Hawaii, parts of Canada, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, and South/Central Asia since 1998.

Clean Power Research takes GroundWork’s qualified ground data to tune the SolarAnywhere estimates, providing a low uncertainty model and removing bias from the solar resource at the project site. Learn about GroundWork’s exciting new partnership from Clean Power Research here.

Irradiance estimates are generated using NOAA GOES visible satellite images processed using the most current algorithms developed by Dr. Richard Perez at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany.

Clean Power Research provides software, research and consulting services to power intelligent energy decisions. Founded in 1998, the company has offices in Napa, CA, and Kirkland, WA. For more information visit them at  www.cleanpower.com
