GroundWork’s first-ever Impact Report marks a milestone in our journey toward greater transparency, alignment, and sustainability. It’s more than a summary of achievements; it’s a framework for how we track progress, set priorities, and stay accountable to the future we’re helping to build.
Why We Report
As the utility-scale solar industry grows, so does the importance of aligning operations with long-term environmental and social outcomes. GroundWork’s Impact Report is a tool to help us do exactly that; by measuring what matters, identifying gaps, and committing to real improvements backed by data.
What’s Inside
The report outlines our approach to ESG through measurable progress and scalable processes:
- Emissions Tracking: Measured full Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions in 2024, establishing a baseline and identifying top reduction opportunities.
- ESG Integration: Implemented new policies, supplier standards, and operational processes aligned with our B Corp certification.
- Social Impact: Launched formal DEI and professional development programs, with strong female leadership and a culture of inclusion.
- Community Engagement: Partnered with, donated to and fundraised for nonprofits, including off-grid solar solutions for underserved communities.
Looking Ahead
We know this is just the beginning. Our goal is to expand our ESG framework that grows with our company. That means improving how we collect and analyze data, setting clearer performance benchmarks, and continuing to report transparently on both our successes and our challenges.
The Value
By treating sustainability as any other technical discipline – measurable, trackable, and improvable – we’re helping to ensure that utility-scale solar isn’t just high-performing, but high-impact.
