- Liaise with business development, project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to gather product and structural requirements and designs.
- Evaluate client requirements and solution feasibility through technical meetings and documentation reviews (e.g., construction site drawings, proposed system design).
- Given requirements and constraints, determine which GroundWork products, standard or custom, apply.
- Support the creation of system design packages and corresponding bill-of-materials to meet functional, performance, safety, and cost requirements.
- Prepare drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software of standard or custom designs that require strong precision and drafting knowledge.
- Review and design detailed electrical schematics for MET stations using CAD software.
- Design diagrams, maps, and layouts to illustrate workflow using CAD software.
- Prepare rough sketches and review them with engineering colleagues.
- Support those responsible for building, testing, and deploying designed systems by providing hands-on guidance and by writing detailed and accurate support documentation.
- Provide installation and post-installation troubleshooting support.
