GroundWork utilizes the expertise of Integrated Environmental Data, LLC (IEDat) for GroundWatch, our data quality program.

Integrated Environmental Data, LLC (IEDat) is a consulting firm formed in 2000, specializing in measurement and analysis for renewable energy applications. IEDat is known for fast, efficient, and accurate handling of data from a wide variety of sources. IEDat also conducts environmental and avian risk studies for community-scale renewable energy projects.

Kathleen Moore is President and owner of IEDat. Dr. Moore is a Certified Consulting Meteorologist who has long experience in ground-based and satellite-based solar irradiance measurements, both as a consultant and as a university researcher. She has provided resource assessment support for many hundreds of utility-scale and community-scale renewable energy projects under development around the world. Dr. Moore?s educational background includes a B.S. in Environmental and Forest Biology, an M.S. in Plant Pathology and a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences. She is a member of the American Solar Energy Society, the American Meteorological Society, and the American Geophysical Union. She is chair of the Conservation Board in the Town of Berne, NY.

Judith Henningson is the key analyst and environmental scientist at Integrated Environmental Data. Known for her careful observation and attention to detail, she plays an important role in daily solar data monitoring, in addition to heading up environmental analysis for community-scale wind energy projects. Judith?s keen observational skills are also applied in the craft of weaving textiles.
