As of December 2016, the US Energy Information Administration reported that the US had over 21.5 GW of utility-scale solar in operation, more than half of which came online in the past two years. Congratulations to GroundWork client EDF Renewable Energy, that recently launched a new distributed energy business unit, Distributed Electricity and Storage (DES), marking their entry into the C&I market. DES will focus on providing electricity and energy storage from plants up to 30MW.
