About Colin Sillerud
Colin Sillerud is the Director of the Reliability Test Group at CFV Labs in Albuquerque, NM. He has presented research at venues such as NREL’s PV Reliability Workshop and IEEE PVSC, and published articles in PV Module Tech. Recent areas of research include addressing reductions in the mechanical durability of PV modules and comprehensive strategies for hail planning and response. He has also collaborated on and designed IEC test protocols, such as the mechanical stress sequence and UV backsheet sequence in IEC 63209-1. Outside of work, Colin is an award-winning landscape photographer and explorer who leads international adventure workshops.
