About Emilie Sorensen
Emilie joined GroundWork in 2019, monitoring site maintenance and ensuring site efficiency while working on the GroundWatch team. She currently manages the Pyranometer Maintenance Program, where she works to create a streamlined process of asset management, continuous site support, and improve process development.
Prior to joining GroundWork, Emilie gained working knowledge with MET instrumentation and datalogger programming through her work as a Product Manager at Campbell Scientific. She earned a BS in International Studies with extensive course work in International Business Relations.
Emilie is based out of Logan, Utah. She is passionate about the sun and its renewable energy source, her family, equality, and playing hard. She enjoys spending time outdoors, biking, riding horses, and snowboarding in the backcountry, in search of deep powder.
