About Eryn Donnelly
Eryn is an electrical engineer with a passion for power systems. She joined GroundWork in 2025 and is committed to contributing to the organization’s technical excellence while sharing her enthusiasm for electrical equipment (think huge transformers and high-voltage circuit breakers). With more than 14 years of engineering experience, Eryn combines technical depth in electrical concepts with hands-on project experience. Her background includes electrical design engineering (medium-voltage distribution to high-voltage substations), testing and commissioning, and independent engineering. She has performed technical reviews of several gigawatts’ worth of solar and energy storage projects.
Before joining GroundWork, Eryn held senior and director-level roles in engineering design and project management. She earned her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and maintains multiple professional engineering licenses.
Outside of work, Eryn and her family enjoy exploring the outdoors in Colorado – most often hiking, fly fishing, biking, or some combination of the three.
