Michael Thomson

Michael joined GroundWork in 2022. As a member of the project management team, he has a passion for getting things done and enjoys digging into the details and coordination involved in taking a project from start to finish.

After nearly 20 years in the electrical field, Michael was ready for a change and earned his BA in Organizational Leadership and Project Management from Arizona State University. He is extremely grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow with the solar industry.

A native Idahoan, Michael and his wife live in Boise, Idaho with their three fur babies. He enjoys golf, travel, and spending time with his friends and family. Michael has a variety of song lyrics running through his head at any given moment. Don’t get him started on the tv show Friends, or the movie Top Gun as he will recite them both for hours.
