About Tia Towers
Tia serves as a Project Manager at GroundWork Renewables, where she is known for strong communication skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through. She plays a key role in coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project workflows, and delivering high-quality outcomes for clients. Recognized by leadership for her drive to take on new challenges, she is expanding her role to support the Pyranometer Management Program. In this capacity, she will help develop processes, strengthen operations, and contribute to the program’s long-term success while continuing her work with the Resource Assessment team.
Before joining GroundWork, Tia worked in healthcare as a Surgical Pathology Solutions Specialist at the University of Utah, supporting both medical professionals and families with care and precision. Her ability to manage complex tasks while maintaining empathy and clarity continues to inform her work in the renewable energy sector.
Tia holds an Associate of Science degree from Weber State University and is dedicated to continual professional growth. Based in Utah, she enjoys hiking and has a deep appreciation for the arts, baking, crochet, and embroidery. Her favorite way to spend time is with her family, who are the heart of everything she does.
